Stephan Nieman is a Jewish-American Theatre Director from the LA area. He graduated from CSUN in 2018 with a bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts. He started directing at the age of 16. Stephan’s most recent theatre credits include Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Pillowman (Platform BA 3, E15), The Diary of Anne Frank, Blood on thy Hands, Titus Andronicus, Connections and Confrontations, Trail to Oregon, and The Gondoliers. Their most significant influence had been the studies of Augusto Boal’s Theatre of the Oppressed as well as Aristotle’s Poetics and Bertolt Brecht’s Epic Theatre. He is working towards an MFA in Theatre Directing from East 15 Acting School. And is the current founder of the Bridgeway Theatre Company
