Stephan Nieman is a Jewish-American Theatre Director from the LA area. He graduated from East 15 Acting School with his MFA in Theatre Directing and CSUN in 2018 with a bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts.  He started directing at the age of 16. Stephan’s most recent theatre credits include The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Cold Sassy Tree, and Indecent.  Their most significant influences had been the studies of Augusto Boal’s Theatre of the Oppressed, Aristotle’s Poetics, and Bertolt Brecht’s Epic Theatre. He is the current Artistic Director of Mission Theatricals and a current board member of Mission Opera.
